This morning I followed a little Egret around the bay. Pure white with fancy breeding feathers, he looked like he should be calm and serene but was manically hyperactive............I can relate!!! He would fly a short distance, land in the water and then begin a few minutes of frenzied action darting here and there and catching lots of little fish. I spent an hour following him trying to get close enough and it seemed like five minutes. A wonderful start to the day!! Here are a few shots of him prancing around.
