Wild Wing Images - Photography and Storytelling Camps

As part of a very exciting new chapter in life, Wild Wing Images has designed a five day, four night photography and storytelling camp with places for 6-8 participants. The trip runs from a rustic farmhouse near Northcliffe and covers a broad range of photographic situations while exploring the diverse, rugged and very beautiful landscapes that surround Meerup in the far South West corner of WA. There will be opportunity to photograph birds, wildlife, orchids, flowers, insects, spiderwebs, waterfalls, ocean, old growth Karri forest, dunes and stars. The first trip is running in early October 2025 and has filled. I plan to run regular trips through the spring and summer months of 2025 and possibly even autumn and winter of 2026 if there is enough interest.

There are a variety of accommodation options including 3 QB bedrooms and a bedroom with two SB in the farmhouse, romantic swags on the verandah, an on site caravan that sleeps two and for the more adventurous tents and swags in the garden with an outdoor ensuite bathroom. Food will be simple, healthy and wholesome fresh produce with V and VG options for all meals. There is more information in the two ‘Buttons’ at the bottom of this page including a sample itinerary and an information and welcome page which details my ideas and the ethos I want to create with these trips. If you would like to be on my email list for dates, cost and information about future trips or have any questions please register your interest below.

For a while now I have wanted to run photography workshops to share what I have learnt on my photographic and writing escapades over the past decade but also, and more importantly to create a forum for connection. Connection to self, connection to others, connection to life, connection to nature and connection to the earth. Photography has helped me enormously, to create a sense of belonging, to navigate the difficult times, to appreciate the bigger picture and to see light and beauty wherever I am, to see it within myself, to see it in others and to see it in the wider world.
