Print size is 10 x 8 inches (25.40 x 20.32 cm) mounted on white matt board with outer dimensions measuring 14 x 11 inches (35.56 x 27.94 cm) to fit standard size frames. Please note the print is unframed. Various framed mockups displayed in my online shop are included for inspiration only and may not be dimensionally accurate.

An old favourite and one of my most popular prints!! Captured on the boardwalk at Booragoon Lake during summer when the lake dried up entirely. The beautiful green reeds shrivelled and died and the water birds moved out to be replaced by Ravens, Magpies, Black Shouldered Kites and the occasional Whistling Kite. I almost always find something interesting there to photograph, but on this day there was nothing. I had borrowed my friend’s prime Nikon 800mm lens and didn’t want to waste the opportunity with the big glass so I turned my attention to the Ravens. There were plenty about. This one was pacing up and down the boardwalk. I managed to rest the giant lens on the railing and focused as he moved back and forward. I probably took about thirty images. This one was the best. I like his intelligent, menacing expression and how one foot is lifted as he plots his next move.
