The Tree of Life!! I stumbled across it this morning in the suburbs, while I was photographing spiderwebs in the mist!!  As I emerged from the depths of some soggy spider ridden grass, covered in seeds, sticks and bugs and this is what I saw!!  One of the most beautiful, incredible, interesting mornings I have had for a while.  The earth was completely enveloped in a thick, glowing, swirling mist.  Visibility was severely limited, colour erased, outlines softened to a point where form and structure were totally unreliable!  In the midst of this new world all the tiny molecules of water vapour were reflecting light in weird beautiful ways!!  I have never seen so many spiderwebs.  The light reflecting qualities of silk must have fitted perfectly with the strange light, so many unique and beautiful webs beneath my Tree of Life, which, incidentally seemed to be dead, not that it mattered, the skeleton left behind formed one of the best shaped tree silhouettes I have ever seen!!
