Stunning little Barking Gecko ‘Underwoodisaurus milii’ found in the Granny Flat of the Roleystone house.  He fell out of an old car seat.  It has been a while since anyone has been in the Granny Flat and nature seems to have taken over.  This little fella’s accomodation  was located up against a cupboard which when moved revealed a massive ants nest with tonnes of eerky ant larvae. I am thinking it was probably what he was eating? Yuk yuk but he was fat and healthy?  I safely relocated this little guy into the leaf litter of the garden and returned to the Granny Flat to find a 1.2 metre Dugite in the bathroom, it disappeared under a door into a storage cupboard.  I toyed with the idea of just pretending I hadn’t seen it? Cleaning the Granny Flat was just getting too complicated?  I returned a few minutes later to find a 20cm spotted skink running around in the bathroom, it too disappeared under the door into the storage cupboard, not realising it had probably gone out of a frying pan into a very hot fire?  Now concern for the safety of the poor skink meant I could no longer ignore the snake and the situation was somewhat urgent? We locked Kalli dog in the bedroom (she was not happy) and geared up with protective clothing, canvas bag and snake catching pole. Opened the cupboard door and slowly and carefully removed everything from the cupboard. No skink? No Snake? At the very back of the storage cupboard was an old drainage hole?  I don’t really like to think what happened?
