Misty Ferns 10*8 Inch Fine Art Mounted Print
The Tiny Treasure Print Collection by Wild Wing Images is a celebration of the tiny ones. Tiny moments, tiny creatures and tiny plants. Shards of nature, color and happiness to brighten small spaces. These small prints look beautiful displayed individually or in carefully chosen sets with a common theme. Each print is professionally printed on Fine Art Canson Photographique Rag, mounted on museum grade matt board and comes with a hand signed certificate of authenticity that includes the story behind the image.
Print size is 10 x 8 inches (25.40 x 20.32 cm) mounted on white matt board with outer dimensions measuring 14 x 11 inches (35.56 x 27.94 cm) to fit standard size frames. Please note the print is unframed. Various framed mockups displayed in my online shop are included for inspiration only and may not be dimensionally accurate.
IKEA, KMART and Harvey Norman are good options for economical frames in various colors and standard sizes.
Finally, I woke up feeling better this morning. The Covid haze has gone! I have spent the week trying to work from home with what seems to be half a brain. The diet of rosebud tea, apricot nut bars and peanut butter straight from the jar probably hasn’t helped. My body always craves exercise so I have been on a few long solitary hikes in the bush that adjoins my home. Over the last few days a prescribed burn a few kilometres east has resulted in a massive cloud of smoke that has descended down the valley, obscuring the landscape in a thick haze. The light has a strange quality to it, warm tones but eerie. Greens seem brighter and detail is blurred. At dawn and dusk the sky has turned blood red as all the tiny smoke particles pick up the colour of the sun emerging from and retreating to the safety and darkness of night. I have been lamenting the lack of rain and waterfalls but, it was on one of these hikes that I realised I had a few incredible places to photograph, literally on my doorstop. The overgrown, tangled, blackberry ridden Canning River flows through the back of my property. At the moment it is a tiny creek, barely moving, but the the dense undergrowth, tree ferns and blackberry vines create an atmospheric quality and sense of mystery. Combined with dawn and the dense smoke the scene is other worldly. Suffice to say I was inspired to spend the first few hours of the day wading around in the freezing creek with my tripod and camera fighting through the undergrowth experimenting with different compositions!!
